From one teacher to another, when is the best time for teachers and their families to visit and still get a great deal? august/sept not an option due to kicking off a new school year.

How fun to get a question from a fellow teacher!  Hope your school year is winding down smoothly.

Assuming you are trying to visit WDW without taking any days off of school like we do, we like to visit early in June (we have school from mid-August to Memorial Day weekend).  We've also been lucky enough to take advantage of promotional deals to make the costs less. Just an fyi, these dates often overlap Star Wars Weekend and Gaydays (not sponsored by WDW) which can make some parks more crowded.

Some years our winter break ends up being a bit off kilter - such as having a week off before Christmas or a week off after New Year's Eve.  These are fabulous times to visit with lower costs, lighter crowds, holiday decorations, and no summer heat.

If you have the freedom to take off days from school, anytime after Thanksgiving  through Christmas are also worth visiting to get better deals.

    Happy planning!
