I have one stateroom reservation. When I checked in I got a port time for 11:45. Why is it thay when I check now a few days later my port time is now 3pm?

Ahoy there Jennifer, and welcome aboard planDisney!

Completing the Online Check-In process early to snag the Port Arrival Time you desire can really help you embark on the right foot, so I can imagine how alarming it might be to suddenly see it change ahead of your voyage. I wish we had a few more details like which Departure Port you will be embarking from, when you'll be sailing or even which ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet you have a reservation on so I highly recommend and invite you to ask another question here at planDisney to provide these specifics for our Disney Cruise Line Specialists to answer. That said however, I can provide a bit more general guidance as someone who's lived and worked on board as an Entertainment officer for nearly a decade:

    • Port Arrival Times for guests are always subject to change and typically if these have been shifted you can expect to receive some form of communication (usually an email) informing you whether there will be any delays in the terminal opening to welcome guests on any voyage. Sometimes these can be anticipated far enough ahead for guests to prepare for, or can be altered without prior notice on the day due to the operational needs of the vessel. In my personal experience this has happened to ships in the past due to a variety of things including itinerary diversions, extended Coast Guard or Health inspections with delayed guest clearance or even something like decorations being put up in time prior to guests being able to board.
    • I highly recommend calling Disney Cruise Line directly to ask whether they can look into this for you, so be sure to have your reservation details ready. There's no guarantee as to whether they'll be able to have any more information to share with you, or whether any changes can be made but it's always worth asking either way just in case! (You can also keep a close eye on the Disney Cruise Line website or your Disney Cruise Line Navigator App to see whether any earlier Port Arrival Times open up for you to be able to modify yours to.)
In the meantime, we hope to see you back at planDisney again soon for any other watery wisdom or nautical knowledge; don't hesitate to let us know anything more specific about your voyage for our experts to look into for you!

Here's hoping you'll be able to get to the bottom of this mysterious change before you set sail!
