We have one reservation for two families going, both sets of families want to eat with their own families will we be able to make ADR's for the same place same time but with only our own families. There is a total of 8 of us going and each ADR is for 4 ppl

    Hi Lisa,

I think the answer to your question depends on where you're dining.  If you're dining at a restaurant like Teppan Edo or somewhere that has big enough tables to seat 8, then you'll most likely be seated as a group.  Most large parties usually want to be seated together, so cast members really try to accommodate that request.  However, if you are at a restaurant where they combine tables to put large parties together you can certainly ask to sit at separate tables, although you'll most likely be next to one another.

You could call WDW Dining and ask them to make a note that, if possible, you would like to sit at separate tables.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
