Hello Karen! Thank you for stopping by planDisney!
With over 40 square miles to cover at
Walt Disney World Resort, the transportation options are really remarkable. All Guests, regardless of whether they are staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel are able to use the
complimentary Disney busses, monorails, boats, and the Disney Skyliner to get to wherever they need to be. I personally love the
Skyliner because it's like jumping on my first attraction of the day, even before I get through the turnstile at the Theme Park!
Staying at
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort sounds like such a perfect retreat! You'll get to spend the day exploring
Magic Kingdom,
EPCOT,
Disney's Hollywood Studios, and
Disney's Animal Kingdom, and then return to your little island in the sun to relax and recharge for the next day. Recharging is especially important if you plan on getting up for
Early Theme Park Entry every day!
Staying on property in a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel has so many
benefits, even beyond the extra time you get in the Parks (though I'm with you in thinking that that is the very best one)! My family and I love to get up with the sun and "rope drop" our favorite rides, meaning we get there before Park opening, even on Early Theme Park Entry days. You'll find that both Disney busses and the Disney Skyliner
tend to start operating 45 minutes before Park opening time, though I've personally seen them running even earlier. If you would like to know specific times that the busses or Skyliner will be running while you're at the Resort simply stop by the Front Desk and speak to a Cast Member.
I simply can't say enough about the benefits of arriving at the Parks early. The weather is cooler, the Parks look beautiful sparkling in the morning sunlight, and the crowds are still sleeping! My best friend and I used to make it a point to be the first Guests on
Peter Pan's Flight EVERY vacation and we've succeeded each and every time. "Rope-dropping" is the easiest way to quickly get on your favorite "must-do" attractions with hardly any wait. If you don't plan on using
Disney Genie+ Service to essentially "skip" the line, then definitely take advantage of Early Theme Park Entry.
Enjoy every moment of your vacation!
