One more question. Can our kids do horseback riding without us at FW? Ages 15 and 10.

Hi Stacy! I have arrived at the horseback trail rides where a family was going to ride together and the mother decided she was too afraid and the father was too large so they did not go. The children were still allowed as  long as they met the age, height and weight requirements. Children must be at least 48" tall and less then 250 pounds. They must also wear helmets that are provided and parents must sign a release form for each child. Let the trail guides know your children's horse ability and they will match a horse to them so they can enjoy the ride and not be afraid. It is a walking ride and the horses will not be allowed to trot or canter but it is still quite enjoyable. I suggest a morning ride time though as the sun really can heat up and beat down on you later in the day. Even though you are walking it is best to wear jeans, pants, or long capris to protect your skin as well as closed toed shoes. Hopefully your kids will see some wildlife on their trip through the Fort Wilderness woods!

Hopefully you will not have any issues or find any new rule changes for the trail rides for your kids. Disney does change constantly so as it gets closer and you make the reservation check for any new requirements for this activity.
