Can one purchase a pass to visit the Magic Kingdom the first part of the day and then visit Epcot Center the second part of the day/night? Thanks!!! Randy

    Hello Randy,

It sounds like you'll be heading to Walt Disney World for a short time and want to have the most magical experience possible! You absolutely can visit both Magic Kingdom and EPCOT in the same day.

First, you'll want to check the Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar to make sure the Magic Kingdom is available for the day you plan on traveling. It most likely will be, unless you are planning on visiting during a major holiday or other particularly busy time. Your next step will be to purchase your ticket and make your park reservation. You'll need to purchase a Ticket with Park Hopper Option. You only need to make a reservation for the park where you plan to start your day, in your case, Magic Kingdom. At 2 PM (or whenever Park Hopping is allowed) you'll be able to head to any other park. You could even visit all 4 parks in one day if you were feeling really adventurous.

EPCOT is a fantastic place to end a day at Disney. There are so many delicious restaurants to choose from around World Showcase. You can make reservations for those beginning 60 days in advance of your visit. Even if you don't get reservations, there are some great Quick Service locations. Les Halles Boulangerie & Patisserie in the France Pavilion is one of my favorites. Plus, there is almost always a festival going on, which means Outdoor Kitchens (or food kiosks) with some fantastic small plates to try. It looks like you'll be there for the International Flower & Garden Festival, one of my favorites (then again, I say that about all of the festivals).

Finally, be sure to end the night by viewing Harmonious, EPCOT's new nighttime show. It's truly spectacular and the perfect way to end your Disney day!

    Hope this helps.
