There at one point was a way to get VIP viewing of the Boo to You parade through the dessert party, but I don't see it offered now. Is there any other party extra that I'm missing that would get us a VIP parade spot?

Greetings, Jessica, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is a goulishly great way to spend a fall evening. Last year, I went TWICE because I couldn’t see it all in one night!

During my two party visits, I learned that there were two parades, one usually at 8pm and another around 11pm. The 11pm parade is much less crowded, as many families with small children have attended the earlier parade and gone back to their hotels. Since the VIP parade viewing section wasn’t something I had seen in the last few years, I decided staying late was a better choice. You can always opt for the Happy Hallowishes Dessert Party, which will give you VIP views of the Halloween fireworks show (which is really splendid. It wowed me the entire time!) and prearranged seating on the Tomorrowland Terrace. You can make reservations by calling (407) 939-3463 for reservations or booking online, but remember that Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween party admission is not included in the dessert party price.

I hope you feel so special in your VIP dessert party that a ghost follows you home… so be sure to “come back!” as Constance says in the Haunted Mansion. See ya’ real soon! ~ Lindsey P.
