One more please. 1st time at WDW. We'll be staying at the BC for 7 nights in Aug. DH,DD5 and DS7. We currently have the one park p/day and wondering it it would be worth to upgrade to the hopper and water parks. What do you think? Thank you for your help!!

    Hi Alicia,

The Beach Club is a beautiful resort, and it shares what many feel is THE best swimming pool (it's actually a mini-water park) with the Yacht Club, Stormalong Bay.  Whether to add the Park Hopper and/or Water Park Fun and More Options to your tickets is largely a matter of personal preference. Here are some factors to consider when you make your decision.

Park Hopper is only necessary if you think your family will be going to more than one park in a single day.  The Beach Club is a great location largely because you can walk (or take a quick boat ride) to two of the four main theme parks (Epcot and Hollywood Studios).  This actually makes "park hopping" very convenient, and perhaps is something you'd like to consider.  When we stay at the Beach Club, we usually split some of our days between Hollywood Studios (riding Toy Story Mania over and over!) and Epcot (riding Test Track over and over).  Epcot also has wonderful dining options, and since you can walk over in the evenings you might consider "park hopping" after a day at another park.

Since the Beach Club has such a fabulous pool, your kids might not feel the need to hit one of the water parks.  If you have slide, wave pool and raft ride lovers, however, the Water Park Option is a great idea.  My kids are partial to Blizzard Beach, but both parks are a blast.  My boys also LOVE arcade games, and for us, no Disney trip is complete without a visit to DisneyQuest at Downtown Disney.  Admission is included with the Water Park Fun and More Option.

    Have a great trip!
