One person on my reservation is unable to make it on Wednesday. I don’t want to cancel the whole reservation, just 1 of the 2 reservation/tickets. How do I do that?

Hey there, Troy! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. I’m sorry to hear one person in your party can’t make it for your trip. Rest assured, you can cancel one of the reservations and leave the other one intact.

If you log in to your Disneyland account, go to “My Disneyland” and “Ticket and Reservation Details.” Then, click on “View My Park Reservations” and you should see the list of your current reservations. Click on the “Cancel Reservation” link and on the next page you will have the option to select which Guest’s reservation you want to cancel. (I know it can be unnerving to click the ‘Cancel Reservation’ button!)

The unused ticket will remain linked to your account and a new reservation can be made at a future date.

Troy, I’m not sure if you have tried Disney Genie+ yet but for my family it has been a game changer. Through the Lightning Lanes that Genie+ gives you access to, you can save hours upon hours of time with the shorter queues. Our record thus far is 13 Lightning Lanes in one day!

I hope you have a lovely visit this week. Come back and see us if you have any more questions!
