Hi there, Sinead, and welcome back to planDisney!
The magic of Walt Disney World Resort is so much more alive when you can share it with those you love. Using the
Disability Access Service (DAS) is no exception to that rule. Are you ready for some good news?
More than one person can definitely have complimentary access to the
Lightning Lanes that DAS provides. The DAS benefits are extended to up to five additional members of your party. Not only that, but the benefits are good for up to 60 days, so there’s no need to hurry back to Guest Relations to renew it.
Once you’re approved and registered for DAS, a Cast Member will set you and your group up for your first return window for an attraction’s Lightning Lane. Throughout the day, you can either speak to a friendly Cast Member at the Guest Experience Team blue umbrellas around the theme park or take control of your own day by using the My Disney Experience app's DAS Return Time Self-Selection Tool.
AN EXTRA GEM: Remember, you don’t have to wait to sign up for DAS at the theme parks. Sinead, you can also register for DAS online 2-30 days before your arrival date. Complete a virtual pre-registration using a live video chat feature. On the
registration webpage, look for “Request Live Video Chat.” A Cast Member will determine your eligibility, and you’ll actually get up to two (2) Lightning Lane selections instead of one.
My wish is for you to have the most magical vacation, Sinead! If you have any other questions about your upcoming trip, please
revisit us here at planDisney.
Magic always,
LeAndra
