One of our party members can no longer attend. Is it possible to cancel a single ticket (and not just the park reservation) or change the money spent on the ticket into a credit for other activities?

Hi Josette! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.

I'm sorry to hear one of your group won't be along for all the fun on your upcoming trip. That's got to be frustrating. Unfortunately, according to Disneyland Resort Terms and Conditions, admission tickets are non-refundable and the purchase price can't be applied to dining, hotel stays, or other magical experiences.

I know that's not the magical answer you were hoping for today, but I can assure you that wholly unused admission tickets always retain their value. For example, my cousin wasn't able to join us on a planned trip after I purchased her admission ticket. She will be along this coming spring though, and I was able to apply the value of her unused ticket towards the purchase of a new ticket by paying the difference since ticket prices have changed. It's been a couple of years, but her unused ticket has retained its value and we'll all enjoy our upcoming trip together. That helps take the sting out of a missed vacation hopefully.

Of course, if you have questions about your ticket or need assistance, you can always speak with a helpful Cast Member at the Tickets phone line. They're always happy to assist you in whatever way they can.

    Have a magical time!
