One of my party is having a birthday while we will be at the park, and I was planning to surprise them with a Savi's lightsaber. Do I need to book it on their ticket?

Bright suns, Josh! Thanks for jumping to light speed and heading to planDisney with your question. Celebrating a birthday in Batuu by making a hand-built lightsaber sounds like a perfect day. I still remember taking my oldest son to do this experience when he turned eight. He told me it was the best day ever!

When booking the Savi's Workshop reservation, you only need to include their name. You won't need to link to their ticket. A credit card is required to guarantee the reservation and will only be charged in the case of a no-show. Also, please note that the experience accommodates one builder and two guests, so if you have more in your party, they will need to wait outside. At least one person in each experience area must be age 14 or older. Josh, you will want to be present at Check-In for the reservation, regardless of whether you plan to watch the experience, as that is when the selection and payment for the chosen lightsaber is made.

After the experience, be sure to wander Galaxy's Edge and take photos with the Disney PhotoPass Photographers. They often have some excellent magic shots, and it would be a perfect way to show off the new lightsaber!

I hope this information helps in your planning. Please let me know if you have any other questions - I would be happy to help!

May the Force Be With You,
