Hello! One park day we’ll be at animal kingdom & have a dinner reservation @ Chef Mickey’s. We’re staying @ All Star Movie. How should we plan to get from Animal Kingdom to The Contemporary & then back to All Star movie after dinner?

Hello and welcome to planDisney, Alana.

It sounds to me like you have such a fun day planned on your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation. From Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, Alana, you'll just take the designated bus marked for Disney's Contemporary Resort.  This will get you there in no time for your dinner reservation at Chef Mickey's as it is a direct bus back and forth. To get back to Disney's All-Star Movies Resort, you have a few options. If you like to use the complimentary transportation, depending on the time, I suggest walking over to Magic Kingdom Park. There is a sidewalk that connects Disney's Contemporary Resort and Magic Kingdom Park that is easy to follow. If you aren't interested in walking, you can also take the monorail over to Magic Kingdom Park. From Disney's Contemporary Resort, the monorail will stop at the Transportation and Ticket Center, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa before making its way to Magic Kingdom Park. Once there, you'll head to the bus stop area and board the bus that is marked for Disney's All-Star Movies Resort. Alternatively, Alana, it might be pretty late and you just want to head straight back to the resort and you can do this by using a ride-share service or taking a taxi. I like to use ride-share services to get from a resort to another resort because it is direct, convenient and pretty affordable. Both major ride-share companies service the area so you can use whichever one you prefer. I like to check both before deciding because sometimes there is a deal or special promotion on one.

I hope this helps you get around with ease, Alana. If you have any other questions before your trip, please feel free to stop back by and ask me. I'm here to help. Have fun and enjoy!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
