Greetings Nicola, and welcome to planDisney!
Bees will buzz, kids will blow dandelion fuzz, and you'll be visiting
Walt Disney World in summer! Planning trips to sunny Florida helps get me through the cold winter. It sounds like you too are thinking like Olaf and imagining yourself in warmer weather.
Staying in the middle of the magic is especially valuable these days with new benefits like
Early Theme Park Entry and
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours available to Guests of hotels in the
Disney Resorts Collection. With a one-night stay, you can take advantage of these perks on
both your check-in AND check-out days. Keep in mind that Extended Evening Theme Park Hours are only offered to Guests staying in Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resorts; check out a full list
here.
I experienced Early Theme Park Entry at
Disney's Hollywood Studios earlier this month, and it was a fantastic way to start my day. My panelist pals and I enjoyed several of our must-do attractions before the park opened to the general public. We started on Sunset Boulevard with
Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith and
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™, then made our way to the center of the park to ride
Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway all within that first magical thirty minutes. The best part of this perk is that it's offered every day of the week. That's music to my early-rising family's ears!
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours take place at
Magic Kingdom Park and
EPCOT on select nights. Be sure to
check the schedule here as your holiday approaches. These extra hours take place long after my kids' (and my!) usual bedtime, so if you plan to experience them on your trip, I recommend a midday nap and a stop at a Joffrey's Coffee kiosk on your way into the park.
I hope this is helpful, Nicola. 2022 is going to be an incredible year to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. Be sure to stay tuned to the
Disney Parks Blog and
official social media accounts for updates while you wait for your adventure to begin. Thanks for stopping by
planDisney, and we'll see ya real soon!
