Hey there, Elizabeth!
Welcome to planDisney and thanks for
hopping by with a fantastic
Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question. I can't believe my eyes... do you
really arrive at The Most Magical Place on Earth
today!? There's no time to waste, Elizabeth. I wouldn't want you to be
late for a very important date! Let's chat about Disney Resort hotel reservations.
Like Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, you're fortunate to have stopped by planDisney with your question today! Elizabeth, all Guests that will be staying in a
Disney Resort hotel room must be listed on the reservation. (Judy Hopps, ZPD Officer, would argue that this is necessary for safety reasons, first and foremost!) To ensure you don't end up in a wacky, zany Roger Rabbit-like situation, I encourage you to add the unlinked member of your travel party to your reservation as soon as possible today before check-in. If you haven't arrived at your Disney Resort hotel quite yet, you could call the
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations phone line to correct the issue. Alternatively, you may be able to chat with friendly Cast Members at the Help Desk (chat function) on the Walt Disney World Resort website. If you've already hopped over to The Most Magical Place on Earth, I recommend stopping by the Front Desk to confirm the extra Guest is added to the reservation before you head to your room. I'm sure you're extremely excited (maybe even foot-tappin' like Thumper) to get on your way, but this should be a quick and easy fix as long as your room type is approved for the number of Guests in your travel party!
Elizabeth, it's important to note that most standard Disney Resort hotel room rates include up to two adults, and that adding any additional adults over this limit will incur a small, per-night fee. However, once you've confirmed that all Guests in your travel party are listed on your reservation, everyone will be able to
unlock the door to your Resort hotel room and access exclusive benefits like
early theme park entry! If you'll be heading into the theme parks today, don't miss a visit with Mr. Bunny and Mrs. Bunny at
Magic Kingdom Park, who only make appearances near the Easter holiday.
I hope you've found this information helpful, Elizabeth, and I wish your entire travel party a magical and memorable springtime stay at the Walt Disney World Resort! If you have any additional questions throughout your visit, you're always welcome to
hop back over to
planDisney anytime. We're all
ears!
Hoppy Easter,
Lauren
