Can more than one member of your party have an annual pass? Does it make sense to purchase multiple annual passes?

    Hi Heather,

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel for assistance. I love helping fellow New Englanders plan their Walt Disney World Resort vacations!

Currently, almost every member of my family is a Disney Annual Passholder. If you plan on visiting the Walt Disney World Resort for more than one vacation within a twelve month period of time, it definitely makes financial sense to purchase an Annual Pass for everyone. Essentially, a 4-day ticket with the Park Hopper Plus option would cost you $480. If you did that same trip twice in one year, it would cost you $960. A Disney Platinum Annual Pass is $849 and that would give you access for 365 days. You would also be eligible for Annual Passholder discounts, and a variety of other benefits. We visit Disney multiple times during the year, so we get our money's worth with our Annual Passes. Depending on how many people in your family will be visiting multiple times in a year, it may make sense to buy a pass for everyone. I recommend taking some time to do the math and really plan out your vacations before making the investment. You will find that the 20% dining discounts coupled with various lodging discounts will add up quickly to save you money. However, if you are only going once a year, it likely won't be a sound purchase for you.

Wishing you magical memories on all of your future Walt Disney World Resort vacations,

    Kaylene
