Hi Kristin!
The
My Disney Experience (MDE) app is in my opinion, an essential tool for planning and enhancing your visit to Walt Disney World Resort. Through the app, you can manage many aspects of your vacation, including:
Dining Reservations: You can book and modify reservations at your favorite Disney restaurants.
Attraction Wait Times: This feature allows you to check real-time wait times for attractions and even find entertainment times such as the Festival of Fantasy Parade time.
Lightning Lane Multipass and Lightning Lane SinglePass: Purchase and manage your selections for Lightning Lane attractions. You’ll be able to select and modify arrival windows.
Virtual Queues: Each day at 7:00 AM and 1:00 PM, Virtual Queues for select attractions become available. You can try to join a virtual queue for popular attractions like Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind or TRON Lightcycle / Run.
My family loves to take advantage of
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering at select locations to save time. You’ll also be able to link and manage your MagicBand+ or Theme Park Tickets for easy access to park entry and purchases.
Regarding your specific question about logging in to the same account on different devices—while it is technically possible for both you and your husband to log in to the same MDE account simultaneously, I would recommend caution. The system can sometimes be a bit sensitive, especially when making time-sensitive reservations like Lightning Lane selections or Virtual Queues. This could potentially lead to glitches or delays, which might cause you to miss out on those coveted return times.
To avoid any issues, I suggest your husband create his own My Disney Experience account. This way, you both can manage your plans smoothly, and it reduces the chances of any hiccups when making those all-important reservations!
Wishing you a magical time at Walt Disney World!
