One of the main things I wanted to see on our next trip to Disney World is the Be Our Guest restaurant. However, my family of picky eaters won't eat anything on the menu! Can we go just for dessert (maybe at lunch)? If so, will we need a reservation?

    Hi, Julie!

I had the pleasure of dining at Be Our Guest Restaurant for lunch shortly after it opened, and I agree that it’s something you should try to experience with your family! I loved the "Beauty and the Beast"-inspired ambiance and delicious food.

Lunch is actually quick-service only, so Advance Dining Reservations aren’t accepted. You’ll order your family’s meals using a touch-screen terminal, and many dishes can be customized according to personal tastes and dietary needs, so there may be items your picky eaters are interested in, after all. That said, you’re welcome to order just desserts if you wish. Once you’ve placed your order, you’ll take a “Magic Rose” to the table of your choice in one of three extensively-themed dining rooms—the West Wing, the Rose Gallery, or the Ballroom. Even though the restaurant only offers quick-service dining at lunch, meals are delivered to your table on real china. I recommend the strawberry cream cheese cupcake—it is a must-have for any sweet tooth!

The queue for lunch forms on the bridge leading to the Beast’s Castle. Bon appetit, Julie! Please feel free to ask me any other questions you may have as you continue to plan your pixie-dusted vacation.

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
