    Hi, we are one of the lucky families chosen to test the magic bands, does anyone know if there are separate lines to get in the parks for the bands or can they be used in any line? Arriving in 8 days, cannot wait! Thank you, this is such a great panel

    Thanks so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.
    Lucky you to have been selected for Magic Band testing! I always get so excited about new technology in the parks. I'm sure you'll be amazed by what your MagicBands can do!

    When entering the theme parks, you'll be able to enter through the 'touch point' entry locations. At Magic Kingdom, they're towards the right hand side for example. Cast Members will be out front directing Guests who have RFID cards and MagicBands versus older style park tickets and Key to the World Cards. The poles are set up in 'v' formations and are gold ball topped with an iconic, lime green Mickey Head shape inside a circle of light. You'll see a photo of one of these touch point entry locations in the 3rd photo down on this post on the Disney Parks Blog that I've included a link to for you. Take a bit of a read of this article for some more information about what you can expect from your MagicBands during your visit.

    You may also consider visiting Disney's Contemporary Resort for a great selection of MagicBand merchandise and great accessories with which to adorn and personalize your bands! I can't wait to check it out when I'm at Walt Disney World myself - also in just 8 days!
