Hi Keyra, welcome to planDisney! I love the
Lightning Lane Multi Pass – it's a great way to maximize your time at the Disneyland Resort. Let's talk about this add-on and get you all the information you need to prepare for your magical visit!
First things first, Keyra: Each person in your party aged three or older must have their own
Lightning Lane pass to access the Lightning Lane entrance at eligible attractions. You can add the Lightning Lane Multi Pass to a ticket in advance or purchase it the day of your visit after scanning into a park (subject to availability).
When using the multi pass, be sure to coordinate your selections with everyone in your group to secure the same arrival window. That way, everyone can enter the queue and ride together. Depending on the size of the group, it may be convenient to link the tickets for the whole party to one account in the
Disneyland mobile app. That person could then easily make the Lightning Lane selections for everyone as one party.
Here are some other tips:
- Select your first attraction as soon as you enter the park, and then make selections one at a time all day long
- You can make a new selection after redeeming the current selection or two hours after a selection was made
- Use the pass once on each available attraction
Some popular attractions are more likely to have later return windows than others, especially as the day progresses. I recommend prioritizing
Indiana Jones Adventure and
Space Mountain in Disneyland, and
Guardians of the Galaxy and
Toy Story Midway Mania in California Adventure.
And Keyra, if you are also interested in experiencing Rise of the Resistance or Radiator Springs, Lightning Lane Single Passes are also available for those attractions. You can purchase them separately in the mobile app on the day of your visit after scanning into the park.
Keyra, I hope this information helps your Lightning Lane experience go as smoothly as a Magic Carpet Ride. If you have any other questions, please reach out. We're always happy to help here at planDisney!
Your pal,
Kriss
