Welcome back to planDisney, Tara! I'm so glad that we've been able to answer your questions about
Disability Access Service (DAS) so you can prepare for your upcoming trip. I know it feels like there's a lot of information to take in right now, but once you're actually in the Theme Parks and in the swing of things you'll see how easy and intuitive it is to book DAS return times using the
My Disney Experience app!
When you book a DAS return time, you will be given a timeframe in which you can return to ride. Let's use your example to have a closer look at how it works! Let's say that you see
Alien Swirling Saucers at
Disney's Hollywood Studios has a 5-minute wait, so you snag a DAS return time for it that starts in 5 minutes. Your return time will be a one-hour window, so you do not need to immediately go ride the attraction within five minutes, you just need to find time to ride within the window provided. DAS return times are valid until the park closes or an attraction closes for the day, so you can come back to ride past your return window if you need to. You can only hold one DAS selection at a time, so it typically works best if you pick timeframes in which you know you'll be available. The My Disney Experience app will clearly display all the return times, so all you need to do is pick one that works for you and enjoy!
I hope this answers your question, Tara, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation.
