Hi could any one help I have booked a standard wheel chair accessible room in Animal Kingdom lodge. do any of these rooms have a view at all. I have tried upgrading my room to a savanna view room but my travel agent has no more rooms,

    Welcome back, Sylvia!

Standard rooms at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge generally have views of landscaping or parking lots. However, there are a few rooms in this category that offer excellent views of savannas. It is also important to note that there are a limited number of standard accessible rooms available. In my experience, most of these rooms are located near the lobby and offer easy access to common areas such as restaurants, gift shop and transportation. If the view is the top priority, then keep checking back as Guests can change their plans last minute opening up availability.

As you plan your visit, please note that there are several locations around the Resort where you can view the wildlife from observation decks. There are areas within the lodge as well as outside rocking chairs where Guests can make themselves comfortable and take in the beautiful surroundings. You may even be able to catch the flamingo feeding or meet a savanna guide to learn more about wildlife and African culture at the Resort. Be sure to use the nighttime goggles to see animal activity after the sun goes down. To see what activities your family can experience during your visit, take a look at the Resort Recreation Calendar that will be included in your Welcome Packet upon check-in.

    Happy Planning!
