Sarah from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

One of our guests can no longer attend Disney land with us when we go in two weeks. Can we get a refund on his tickets that we already paid for?

Hey there Sarah!  We appreciate you stopping by planDisney to chat about your ticket question.

Unfortunately, according to the eTicket Terms & Conditions, Disneyland Resort theme park tickets are nonrefundable. I know this is probably not what you want to hear, but you can cancel his theme park ticket reservation and he could use that ticket at a later date. If the ticket expires, it should be eligible to exchange the value of that ticket for a new ticket of equal or greater value.

I see your park visit is coming up soon, so I thought I'd share a few tips with you that may be helpful during your time.

    - Have everyone in your party, download and familiarize themselves with the Disneyland app. Depending on your party type, you all may have Disneyland accounts with your tickets connected, if you are going to be using Disney Genie+ service I recommend one person link everyone's ticket to their account so that you can easily make Lightning Lane selections for the whole group.

-Add a credit card to your Disneyland account on the Disneyland app so that you can utilize Mobile Ordering. The majority of quick-service locations in the parks have mobile ordering and it can save so much time versus waiting in the lines. Who doesn't love being able to mobile order a Dole Whip while you are on the Jungle Cruise and being able to go pick it up when you arrive to shore?

-If you don't have dining reservations in advance and decide in the parks that you may want a table service meal, you can try to join the Mobile Walk-Up List in the app. Just search the location you are wanting to dine at, walk up in close proximity to the location, and click to join the list. It will walk you through a reservation and give you an approximate wait time.

-If you are here multiple days or have Park Hopper tickets, be sure to check out Disney's California Adventure Food & Wine Festival going on! There is so much fun and food to enjoy during this festival. You can get a sneak peek at all the offerings, like the Foodie Guide on Disney Parks Blog.

Sarah, I know you were probably hoping for a different answer, but I hope I was able to give you some good information to help you out and a few tips to help you and your party have a wonderful time at The Happiest Place on Earth!
