Hi LeeAnn!
Thanks so much for cruising by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!
We recently sailed on a Disney Cruise Line vacation that included a stop at
Cozumel. We had a difficult time choosing which Port Adventure we wanted to participate in - there were so many great options to choose from! I think the Port Adventure you're referring to is the
Jeep Exploration adventure in Cozumel (CZ09) - it sounds like so much fun!
I haven't personally experienced this tour, but my family did a similar Jeep adventure when we stopped in Grand Cayman. We had such a great time, not only in our Jeep, but interacting with the other families on the tour with us. Like our Port Adventure, there will be a limited number of Jeeps on each tour in Cozumel. I believe there was a maximum of six to eight vehicles on our tour, which held four passengers each.
I don't believe the Jeep Exploration tour will get too far "off the beaten path", such as venturing deep into the tropical jungle areas, but you'll definitely get to see some gorgeous scenery as you journey along the undeveloped coastline of the island (don't forget your camera!). The tour also includes approximately 90 minutes of beach time, and a traditional Mexican lunch!
I think this Port Adventure sounds like tons of fun, with a great balance of sightseeing, nature, and relaxation. It's definitely one I'd like for my family to check out next time we're in Cozumel!
Thanks again for visiting the Moms Panel with your question - let us know if you have any further questions before you set sail!
Have a magical day - Diane W.
