Hi there, Katie, and welcome to planDisney!
You’ve set the date, you’ve made your initial itinerary (because let me tell you, plans change), and now you’re ready to buy your theme park tickets. Woohoo! Let’s dive into exactly how you can purchase your theme park tickets with a pixie-dusted
Disney Gift Card.
When you purchase your theme park tickets online, you’ll see that you can use multiple forms of payment (like a Disney Gift Card, debit card, credit card, etc.) but only one of each type at a time. But you’re in luck! I have a workaround for you, Katie. Visit the Disney Gift Card website, log in using your My Disney Experience account, and upload your Disney Gift Cards in the “My Cards” section. At the moment, you can manage up to six cards at a time and combine up to $1000 onto one card. Then, return to the Walt Disney World Resort website or the
My Disney Experience App and purchase your tickets using the one gift card that has the needed funds.
I hope that you have the BEST time at
Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Be sure to check out Andy’s Backyard in Toy Story Land (my sons’ favorite spot),
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge (you have to try the Blue Milk), and Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway (it’s a new classic!). If you stay for nightfall,
Fantasmic!, a nighttime spectacular, is a must-see.
Katie, if you have any other questions or if you need any Disney vacation activity recommendations,
revisit us here at planDisney. I’m always in the mood to help fellow Guests plan their Most Magical getaways!
Magic always,
LeAndra
