Hi there Tracy, wishing you a very Royal welcome to planDisney!
I remember how tricky it was to navigate Walt Disney World resort as we visited at a time when there were distinct capacity and spacing restrictions in place in the interest of everyone's safety. We definitely learned to pack an extra amount of patience and ended up having to adapt to new strategies for getting to and from the Theme Parks, depending on the
Resort Hotel that we chose to stay at!
You may be happy to hear that the additional capacity limits and distancing restrictions that were previously in place are currently no longer in effect across
all forms of Walt Disney World Transportation. While this may still be subject to change without prior notice, on our most recent visit this month we experienced
buses and
boats that were full of fellow guests at all hours of the day.
From my personal experience, I recently stayed at the Gran Destino Tower at
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort and took advantage of the complimentary
Bus Service that was available. Due to the sheer size of the Resort itself, I found that the bus ride from
EPCOT took just as much time getting around to each resort stop before finally arriving at the Gran Destino Tower. In the morning, I also found that this would result in less seating available by the time it arrived to pick guests up at the same spot. For this reason alone, I might lean toward staying at
Disney's Pop Century Resort for the added bonus of being able to
take advantage of the Disney Skyliner and its additional ease and proximity to
Disney's Hollywood Studios.
I hope this helps you plan ahead for your transportation around Walt Disney World Resort, and definitely come back any time to
ask me if you have any more questions for your upcoming adventure this year!
All the best as you embark on your future bus voyages!
Prince
