One more food question: is the food in the quick service dining areas good? i.e., are there lots of choices for say a quick lunch or snack, healthy? veggies, fruit, milk (or more pizza, hamburgers)? THANK YOU!

    Hi Lisa!

We've found the food variety very good.  Walt Disney World absolutely does have the 'burger and fries' places that people come to expect with Quick Service Dining, but they do often offer other options.  There are usually a vegetarian option at each establishment, and there are some places like Yak and Yeti in Disney's Animal Kingdom that offer stir fry that's pretty good.  Most offer salads as a menu option, as well as apple slices, grapes, carrot, and yogurt as well.  You can also substitute fruit (or a fruit cup, if available) for fries in a meal.

Some of our favorites?  Pecos Bill's in Magic Kingdom (build your own burger), Columbia Harbor House in Magic Kingdom, Backlot Express in Disney's Hollywood Studios (they have a DEE-LISH veggie sandwich there!), Flame Tree Barbeque and Yak and Yeti's Quick service option in Disney's Animal Kingdom.  In Downtown Disney??  Wolfgang Puck Express.

    Have a magical vacation!
