One of our family members needs to have an Epi Pen at all times. The Epi Pen can't be exposed to high heat for long periods of time. We are planning to attend one of the water parks for a day and were wondering if you had any suggestions?

Hello Sue.  Thanks for asking your question here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  We love answering your travel questions.

Walt Disney World allows you to bring a soft sided cooler into all of the Theme Parks including Water Parks. I would suggest bringing a small one to store your EpiPen in while you enjoy your day at the Water Park. Another suggestion would be to take your Epi Pen to the First Aid station at the Water Park.  They would be able to store your EpiPen for you.

When bringing the EpiPen into the parks, be sure to alert the Cast Member at the security station that you have someone with a severe allergy and are bringing the EpiPen with you.

Have a magical vacation.  If I can help you with any other questions you may have, please feel free to ask.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
