One of my family members has been hurt at work; thus we need to reschedule our reservation to a later date. I would like some one to contact me to talk about solutions. Thanks, Cinthia

Hi Cinthia! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question!

I'm sorry to hear about your family member. It's always unfortunate when someone is injured on the job site. I hope they are resting and recovering at this time. With a Walt Disney World Resort vacation on the horizon, you will have options to change the dates of your stay to better accommodate your family circumstances.

Your first option will be to log on to your My Disney Experience account to view your current reservation. If your stay includes both park tickets and resort accommodations, each of these should be listed under "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets". Check to see if there is a "Change Reservation" option listed next to your Disney Resorts Collection hotel information. If it is there, follow the prompts to make the necessary changes. If your visit just includes theme park tickets, you will see a "Change Ticket" option next to your tickets. Depending on what date you change your existing tickets to, there may be an additional cost for the new dates. Once the change is made, it will prompt you to pay the additional amount for these selected dates.

If you are unable to make these modifications online, your second option will be to call the Walt Disney World Resort and speak to a Cast Member for assistance. I would start with the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations line to make the changes to your resort accommodations first. This Cast Member should also be able to assist with your park tickets as well. If you only need help to change your tickets and park reservations, I would call the Existing Ticket line for assistance with this matter. Make sure to double-check the park availability calendar before making any changes to ensure that your new dates are open.

Cinthia, I hope you and your family can make it to the Most Magical Place on Earth in the near future. Depending on the severity of your family member's injury, they may be eligible for the Disability Access Service (DAS). This service is intended for Guests who have a hard time waiting in the standby queue for extended periods. DAS will help your family have a more enjoyable experience touring the parks!

Best of luck in the planning process, Cinthia! Stop back anytime to see us at planDisney!

    See ya real soon!
    Greg
