One of my family members will be arriving at WDW later than the other 3 of us but will stay in our room. Can I start his dining package and parks package at a different time than the rest of us? He won't need as many days of meals and park entries.

    Hello Carol!

It is a pleasure to welcome you to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Your family member does not have to arrive exactly at the same moment as the rest of your party. He will still be able to use the Disney Dining Plan and park tickets without a problem. Each person in your party will receive a certain number of dining plan entitlements for each night of your stay, but these credits can be redeemed in any order starting at check-in until midnight of the day of check-out or until they have been depleted.

The theme park admission tickets will be assigned to your family member, so he can start using his tickets whenever he likes. The first time he uses his tickets can be after the rest of the party has already started using theirs, but please note that multi-day tickets and any options added must be used within 14 days of first use.

I hope this helps you while planning, Carol. Please stop by real soon if you have additional questions.

    Best magical wishes,
    Thiana
