Hiya, Denise! Welcome to planDisney!
Your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth is less than a month away. How exciting! Spring is a great time to visit
Walt Disney World Resort, Denise. The weather is generally lovely, and it doesn’t tend to rain as often as it does in the summer and fall months.
If I’m understanding your question correctly, Denise, you’re asking whether one family member can wait in line while the rest of the party enjoys other offerings in the park, and then rejoin them later. While I completely understand wanting to make the most of your time, this isn’t permitted at the parks. Saving places in line for others is addressed in the
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules under the Guest Courtesy and Attire Policies.
That said, if someone in your party needs to step out of line briefly, such as for a restroom break, that’s a different situation. In those cases, it’s best practice to give a nearby Cast Member a quick heads-up so they’re aware when you rejoin your group. They may also be able to help reunite you with your party if your group has moved significantly ahead in the queue.
Your visit lines up with the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, Denise. In my opinion, EPCOT is at its most beautiful during the festival. The park features a variety of fun Disney character topiaries and beautiful garden displays. Plus, there are plenty of delicious eats and sips to choose from at the Outdoor Kitchens. Disney Parks Blog has a
Foodie Guide highlighting all of the available menus. I highly recommend taking a look to see if there’s anything you might want to try during your visit!
