Hi Moms! One of our evenings we will be dining at the California Grill. I see on the dinner menu there are options under Kids Mickey Check Meals and Kids Entrees. Will my 9 year old be able to order their main course under either option? Thanks!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Mark! I’m glad you’re hEAR detailing your upcoming vacation. And your dinner at California Grill will soar with contemporary style as you gaze upon Magic Kingdom below.

You’ll be happy to hear that Mickey Check Meals absolutely fall under the Kids Meal options. They are separated on most menus to fully disclose the healthy options to families looking for them. While my son often enjoys the grilled chicken and marinara pasta at Sci-Fi Dine-In Theatre Restaurant, sometimes he is just craving that cheeseburger after a long walk in the park. Just like my son, your daughter will be able to order any option under the Kids section (including those Mickey Check Meals) for her entree. The next vacation y’all have when she turns 10 years old, she’ll be considered an adult for meals purposes and will be able to order off the adult menu.

Be sure to try the Sundae Sampler for dessert with your family. The small bites of the playful ice cream combinations are the perfect sweet ending to your day without being too heavy! If there is anything else you can help me with, please let me know. You’ve got a friend in me! ~ Lindsey P.
