Dear Phuong, thanks for bringing your question to planDisney! Wow, that sounds like a super exciting and fun group trip to the Happiest Place on Earth!
Phuong, your colleague should see the tickets and reservations in his
Disneyland account and
Disneyland mobile app. This is how he can confirm:
~ Ask him to log in to the
Disneyland account he used to purchase the tickets. Go to My Disneyland, Ticket and Reservation Details, View My Park Reservations. There he should see the reservations for your party of 16 Guests.
~ He can also go into his
Disneyland mobile app and click on Tickets and Passes – there he should see the actual tickets/barcodes for all the tickets. There should also be an 18-digit ID number for each ticket. Your party has two options for each person to link their own ticket – you can either scan the ticket from your colleague’s phone or enter the ticket number manually. Simply open the Disneyland mobile app and go to Tickets and Passes, where you’ll see “Link Tickets & Passes.”
You can't have a reservation without a ticket, so if you have the QR codes for the reservations, you should be set.
Another tip – I would recommend at least a few folks in your party link everyone’s tickets in their app. Multiple people can link the tickets for your party. This way, it gives you flexibility to have a few people managing logistics during the day with
Disney Genie+! That brings me to my next tip….
I would highly recommend using
Disney Genie+ during your visit for a party that large – it will save lots of time waiting in lines. If you haven’t already, you can purchase Genie+ once you have entered the parks by going to the app, clicking My Genie Day, and clicking the link to add Genie+ to your day. You can add it for multiple people at once, provided their tickets are linked in your app. Genie+ will give you access to Lightning Lanes, which are faster queues.
In the past, I had noticed that the maximum number of tickets I could link was 10. If this is still the case, you could have one person link 10 tickets and the other person link six tickets. This way you can still try to make Genie+ selections in two groups for the 16 people in total, to get similar return times for the attractions!
In case you're looking for other tips, we just dropped a
planDisney Podcast episode exclusively about Disneyland Resort! Have a watch or listen when you can.
Spending time at Disneyland Resort with a large group is so much fun. I hope you enjoy your visit to infinity and beyond!
