We have one Disney Experience account for 5 of us. My question is, should my husband pair his MagicBand+ to the bluetooth on his phone vs mine? My concern is if we split up in the park, will his band still work if it's connected to my phone?

Hello and welcome to planDisney, Stephanie!

Congratulations on your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation! Such a fantastic time to visit, especially during the holidays.

I can tell you from experience that having everyone linked to one My Disney Experience account has no bearing on the MagicBand+ working. No need to worry, your husband’s MagicBand+ will still function as it should. As my family has gotten older, we split up quite often because everyone has different likes and desires. As a backup, I like to ensure that I set up a Disney MagicMobile pass for everyone in my party to place in their smartphone digital wallet. This way, everything is on their phone in case they lose the MagicBand+ or it doesn’t function for any reason.

We will be here if you have additional questions prior to your arrival.

    Have a magical experience!
