We will have only one day WDW and was wondering which park is best for a 5yr old boy and 3yr old girl...both 1st time visitors and how we can make the most of our time there. I'm so excited about taking my kids there! Thanks!

    Hi Helena!

If I only had one day to spend at Disney World, without a doubt I would head to the Magic Kingdom. To me, this park exudes the true essence of Disney and I think it would be a great park for those first Disney memories.

There are many things for kids your children's ages at the Magic Kingdom. All of the differently themed lands offer great attractions, many of which are appropriate for all ages. Some rides, like the rollercoasters do have height restrictions, but the majority of the attractions are suitable for small children and adults to enjoy together as a family.

If possible, be sure to watch the Wishes fireworks at the end of the day. Listening to the moving music as you watch the fireworks go off over the castle is a perfect ending to a day at Disney!

    Have a wonderful first visit!
