Welcome back to planDisney, Patricia!
It’s been a while since we’ve heard from you, and I hope that you’re getting excited for your upcoming one-day visit to Disney World! While it may seem a little daunting, you don’t need to worry — you’re going to have a marvelous time visiting later this month!
I actually just took my 5 nieces to Disney World for one day! It was a great time, and I hope I get to do a one-day excursion like that again sometime! Here’s a list of the things I would prioritize:
-Make sure you have tickets and any park reservations you may need
-Be sure your park bag has a water bottle, an umbrella, and a few snacks
-Get to your desired theme park early
-Have a list of the attractions you would like to experience for the day in order of importance
-Also make a list of restaurants/snacks you would like to savor
-Open the
My Disney Experience Mobile App and watch wait times
-Experience the attractions and food on your list while also enjoying parades and character sightings
-Consider adding a Park Hopper to your ticket if you want to experience more than one park
-Pace yourself so you can enjoy some evening fireworks
I always enjoy full one-day Disney World visits! If I had to choose one theme park to visit around the holidays, I would choose Magic Kingdom! But EPCOT is a close second because of
Festival of the Holidays! Wherever you choose to visit, you’ll have an amazing time! Be sure to browse the
Holidays at Disney World page for all of the details about the seasonal magic being offered now at Disney World — that may help you choose which theme park(s) you want to visit.
