We'll have only one day to visit and are unsure if we'll have enough time for more than one park. If we buy a single park pass and then on the day of our visit have enough time for a second one, could we buy an add on to our one park pass

Heigh ho, heigh ho, Desiree, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you stopped by with your question!

When it comes to Walt Disney World, there's nothing I love more than options - and luckily, there are plenty of those in The Most Magical Place on Earth. With so many choices, it can sometimes feel impossible to make the big decisions, like where to stay, what to eat, and which parks to visit. But fortunately, Disney World's flexible ticket options will make your choice as easy as pie!

If you want adventure in the great wide somewhere, a Park Hopper ticket will give you the freedom to explore two (or more!) parks all in one day. While my family absolutely loves park-hopping at Disney World, there's definitely something to be said for a one-park day, too (especially on a shorter visit like yours!). Where park-hopping is a jam-packed and pixie-dusted whirlwind, a single-park day is its own kind of magic. Slower and calmer, perhaps, but with more time to enjoy all the details that make Disney World so special!

Desiree, I know this is a big decision, but I'm happy to report that you don't need to make it right now, since you can easily upgrade a standard theme park ticket to a Park Hopper ticket once you're at the park. If you begin your day with a standard ticket and then decide you'd like to upgrade, simply visit Guest Services, where a Disney Cast Member will help you make the magic happen. You can find Guest Services near the main entrance of each theme park.

Your visit may be brief, Desiree, but it sure won't be short on magic! For a one-day visit, I highly suggest downloading the My Disney Experience app, where you can purchase Lightning Lane passes and order food through the Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering feature. With these handy mouseketools, you can make the most of every magical minute!

I hope this information is helpful, Desiree, and that your one-day visit to Walt Disney World is a wonderful and whimsical whirlwind! If you have any other planning questions, you know where to find me right here at planDisney!

    Adventure awaits,

    Allison
