We have one day to visit Animal Kingdom. But, I know the 3-1/2 and 4-/12 yo will need a nap after a while and we probably won't make it back before the park closes for the day. Any suggestions for must-sees to do from rope drop til 1:00pm?

    Hi Daina!

Disney's Animal Kingdom is one of my favorite parks!  My 4 and 7 year old love to visit for a number of reasons.  You will still have a good amount of time to play before it's time to leave for naps.

Stop at the Wilderness Explorers kiosk towards the front of the park and pick up a Wilderness Explorers field guide.  You won't have time to collect all of the badges. but the kids will have a great time earning their stickers.

Our favorite attraction is hands down Kilimanjaro Safaris.  It is an 18 minute open air expedition through the largest part of the park.  My kids love looking for all the different animals while on safari, especially the elephants.  (FastPass+ is highly recommended)

My daughter always requests that we see the Festival of the Lion King show in Harambe Theater.  The performers are fantastic and the costumes are beautiful.  This attraction is not to be missed!  (FastPass+ is highly recommended)

Animal Kingdom is great for exploring.  Take some time to wander.  Follow the various trails to learn more about the animals and their environments.

Before it's time to head out, take the kids to The Boneyard to run out some energy.  This is the best playground, in my opinion, in all of the parks!  They surely be ready for naps after playing in here.

    Have a magical day!
