One day tickets picking up and buying at park do we need ID

Hey there, Charlotte! I’m so glad you stopped by planDisney with your question. It looks like your Disney adventure is about to begin, so let’s get you ready for the fun!

So, here’s the scoop. As a Floridian, you do need to provide proof of Florida residency to activate and use any of the tickets or passes available with a Florida resident discount. Having said that, Disney doesn’t currently offer a discount for us Sunshine Staters on the 1-Day tickets. You’d be buying the same ticket out-of-state visitors buy, so you shouldn’t need ID.

Charlotte, I did a little digging and I think I have a better solution for you! You listed tomorrow (January 6) as your arrival day. A 1-Day ticket for that date would cost you $135 plus tax. Instead, I recommend you go for the 2021 Florida Resident Discover Disney ticket to get even more Disney days for almost the same cost! Check it out: The 2-Day Discover Disney Ticket is $149, or just $75 per day. You can also opt for a 3-Day or 4-Day version that brings your price down to just $50 per day!

Since the Discover Disney Ticket offer is only for Florida residents, you would need to provide an ID. But once you’ve done that, you’re ready for some Disney magic!

I hope this helps you have a blast at Walt Disney World, Charlotte. Please come see us again if you have any more questions!

    Keep Disney Dreaming,
