Hello, I have 2 one day tickets to Animal Kingdom for tomorrow but we are unable to go. Can I save the tickets and use them at a later date? If so how long do I have to use it? Also, can I use them to buy a multi-day ticket later? Thank you.

    Hi there, Karen!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. It looks like you need an answer as soon as possible, so let's get to it!

Because Mickey understands that even miracles take a little time, I'm delighted to share that if it takes you a bit longer than planned to make it to The Most Magical Place on Earth, you shouldn't have a problem using your previously purchased theme park tickets at a later date.

You can change the date of your unused ticket on the Walt Disney World website by logging into your My Disney Experience account, visiting 'My Plans', and then selecting 'Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker' under the 'My Plans, Reservations and Tickets' section. Here you should be able to modify the date by selecting 'Change Ticket'. This process can also be conveniently completed in the My Disney Experience mobile app by selecting the three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner of the screen, choosing 'My Tickets & Passes', and then 'Change Ticket'. No matter which method you choose, there are helpful prompts to guide you through the process.

While there is no fee for modifying your ticket, it's important to keep in mind that if the new date you select is priced higher than your initial ticket, you will need to pay the difference in order to complete the modification. If the new date happens to be less expensive, unfortunately, you will not be refunded. Should you decide that one day of magic simply isn't enough for your upcoming vacation (who could blame you?), then you can easily upgrade your unused tickets by following the same process outlined above. If for some reason you are unable to modify your ticket before its use or expiration, you should have no problem applying its value to the price of a new ticket. Just be sure to keep track of your ticket or confirmation numbers.

I'm hopeful that this information is helpful for you, Karen, but if you encounter any issues modifying the ticket online, I encourage you to reach out to a Cast Member at the Existing Tickets number for assistance. Once you decide when you'll be exploring the wild of Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, feel free to stop back by planDisney for assistance or recommendations. We're always happy to help!
