To my knowledge, there aren't any discounts for park options. Most discounts offered are normally tied to the base ticket themselves.
But to get the most "bang" for your buck, if you're only staying one-day and that stay is at Magic Kingdom, there is soooo much to do at "The Kingdom" you won't need to leave the park. Magic Kingdom generally takes a full day to get through, and 2 days if you're with family. So I would recommend planning out your day just at that park and getting the most out of your money.
