With a one day ticket can I leave the park to go home to take my child for her nap a d then return to that same park later in the day with that same ticket?

    Hi Mary Anne!

I have two little ones of my own and I know how important it is to make sure your little one can have some rest during the day so she has plenty of energy to enjoy evening activities! Standard theme park tickets allow you entry and re-entry into one theme park per day during your visit to Walt Disney World Resort. This means that you are welcome to take a break during the middle of the day so your little one can take a rest and return later.

Keep in mind that the theme parks can occasionally fill to capacity and re-entry is never guaranteed, so if you are visiting on a very busy day such as Christmas Day or July 4th, then you should keep that in mind when you're planning your itinerary. Otherwise, taking a break during the day is a great way to enjoy all of the magic that the theme parks have to offer.

Mary Anne, since you will only be visiting for one day, I definitely recommend that you take advantage of the FastPass+ System to make the most of your magical day! This system will allow you to make three advanced FastPass+ reservations for attractions, Character Experiences or entertainment on your "must-do" list. I love using the FastPass+ System when visiting Walt Disney World Resort with my family because it's so nice to bypass Standby queues for some of the most popular experiences in the theme parks!

Let us know if we can help you plan your itinerary for your visit. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
