Hi there, Julie-Ann!
I'm glad you sent your question to planDisney. It sounds like you are a true friend who wants to offer a Disneyland ticket to someone else, although it is always disappointing when we can't use our own tickets!
Once a ticket has been used, it can't be transferred to another Guest, in my experience. I'm sorry! I assume you purchased the
3-Day Kids' Summer Ticket Offer for your daughter, which is a great deal! Fortunately, those tickets can be used through September 7, 2026 (subject to park reservation availability), so I hope you get the opportunity to bring your daughter back to Disneyland before then.
You could also try applying the value of the tickets towards a new
Magic Key pass, which would provide more opportunities to visit throughout the year. I like the sound of that! You can visit the "My Tickets & Passes" section on the
Disneyland app to see if an upgrade option appears below the ticket. Just keep in mind that the official start date for the Magic Key pass would most likely be the first day that the ticket was used, not the day that you complete the purchase. Feel free to call the "
Tickets" line if you have questions about this process.
I know it's still crazy hot outside, but
Halloween Time at Disneyland actually begins later this month! Starting on August 21, 2026, Guests can enjoy the spookiest time of year with seasonal overlays on select attractions, tasty treats, and "bootiful" decorations. This could be the perfect time to use the last day of your daughter's ticket!
Julie-Ann, I'm sorry to provide disappointing news, but I hope you get a chance to visit Disneyland soon! Don't hesitate to contact planDisney again if you have more questions.
Magic Happens!
Jen
