We have one day to spend at Disneyland with our 7 and 5 year sons. I am wondering if we should "park hop." My kids love the Pixar movies and my oldest has sensory issues so I don't believe he'll want to ride any major rollercoasters.

Hi, Erin! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I am so excited for your family to experience all the fun and excitement at the Disneyland Resort! There truly is something for everyone and certainly lots of great options for your Pixar fans. I always recommend that people park hop! Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park are mere footsteps from each other so hopping back and forth could not be easier. Plus, when traveling with kids, I find it best to keep your plans flexible and having Park Hopper tickets allows you to keep all options available.

Disney California Adventure Park is definitely the place to experience Pixar movies and characters and many attractions are appropriate for kids of all ages. Monsters, Inc. Mike and Sully to the Rescue is a fun, yet tame attraction option. Turtle Talk with Crush is a great interactive show where kids can actually talk with Crush from Finding Nemo. Finally, Cars Land is simply awe-inspiring and is not to be missed. While there are lots of attractions to enjoy, your son might also like meeting some of his favorite pals here like Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Lightning McQueen, Mater, and many more. Use the Disneyland app when you are in the parks to look up exactly when and where to meet characters.

There is just so much to see and do that I know your family will have a magnificent time!
