I have one day passes and want to add Genie plus

    Hello Lynda,

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. The countdown is on! Before you know it, you'll be in the middle of The World's Most Magical Celebration!

Adding Genie+ to your ticket will help you be able to maximize your visit to any of the 4 Disney theme parks. The first thing you want to do is make sure you have the My Disney Experience App on your mobile device. This is how you will be able to use Genie+ to book Lightning Lanes for your favorite attractions. During the next week, take some time to become familiar with the app, especially the Tip Board for each park. This is where you will find standby wait times for attractions as well as the Lightning Lane return times.

On the day of your theme park reservation, beginning at midnight, you'll be able to add Genie+ to your ticket. Purchasing it is easy. On the home screen of your My Disney Experience App you'll find a purple box with a button to purchase Genie+ for the day. Simply click it and follow the steps. It only takes a couple of minutes; you'll just want to purchase it before 7:00 AM when you can make your first Lightning Lane selection.

At 7:00 AM on the day of your visit, go to the Tip Board in My Disney Experience for the park you are visiting. You'll be able to scroll down through all of the attractions to see the Lightning Lane return times that are available. Select the one you want. You can make your next Lightning Lane selection either 1) after you've checked into your first Lightning Lane selection, or 2) 120 minutes after the park officially opens, whichever comes first.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!
