Hello Elizabeth!
Welcome to planDisney! Elizabeth, how daring and adventurous you are! It's now possible after a few years for guests to purchase tickets to Walt Disney World Resort at the ticket window the day of without worry. One-day standard theme park tickets are considered to be date-based as you must select the date you want to use it. As a result, no
theme park reservation is required. I see that you are a Canadian guest but I will provide the prices to you in American dollars as you plan to buy them when you arrive in the States. If purchasing at a ticket booth, know that the prices posted online as the same as they will be in person.
A
one-day standard ticket to Magic Kingdom Park with no park hopper is $159 plus tax for people aged 10 and older and $154 plus tax for people 3 to 9 years old. Prices are subject to change but expect to pay something similar to this. If you are flexible with your dates you may find prices drop even lower a few days later.
You can make a
dining reservation without having a ticket, especially if it is at a Disney Resort Hotel. However, if you make a dining reservation at Magic Kingdom Park you won't be able to enter the Park without a valid Park ticket as well. The dining reservation booking window starts 60 days before you arrive and if you are interested in taking a delicious break in your magical day in my favorite Park then set your alarms for 6 AM EST, June 6, 2024. One of my favorite restaurants in Magic Kingdom Park is
Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen. The menu is so flavorful and I highly recommend the Brazilian Cheese Bread which is a secret menu item.
I hope this helps and you have a great time!
Happy Planning!
