Hello, Cathy,
Thank you for sending your question to planDisney. You've asked a great question and as a big believer in the afternoon nap, taking a break during the day while visiting the theme parks is important to me!
You are welcome to come and go during the day while at the theme parks. Taking a break to go swimming, go to a resort for
lunch or dinner (or even a snack!), take a nap, or whatever reason, you may leave and then return later to the same theme park. However, the exception to this is if you are visiting during a busy time like Christmas Day when the park may reach capacity.
As you prepare for your visit to Walt Disney World, you do want to make sure and first secure your
Theme Park Reservation. If you'd like to make any
dining reservations, they can be done 60 days ahead of time (Disney Resort guests can make 10 days worth of reservations when 60 days out). I also suggest visiting the
Disney Parks Blog for news and updates to know about new things that may be part of your visit.
If you have any further questions, please let us know. Wishing you a magical day!
Kara
