We only have one day and one park we will be able to visit, which is the best park for my 5 year old son?

    Hi, there!

Katie, I'm so excited to hear you'll be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort tomorrow. Even if it's only one day, you're sure to make lots of magical memories that will last a lifetime!

With four theme parks and only one day, it can certainly be hard to choose just one to visit. Since your little guy is only 5-years old, I recommend visiting Magic Kingdom Park. Let's chat about all the pixie-dusted adventures you can experience there!

Plan to arrive shortly before the park officially opens. Once you pass the touchpoints at the entrance, you can spend some time on Main Street, U.S.A. You'll likely see some beloved Disney Characters greeting Guests from the train station, and you'll have the chance to snap a few photos in front of Cinderella Castle before Guests gain entrance to the five themed lands throughout the park. I suggest heading to Fantasyland first. This section of the park has lots of family-friendly attractions that your little guy is sure to love! Your heart will just melt when you see his face light up with joy as you're immersed in the magic of Disney storytelling together. You'll also want to take time to explore Liberty Square, Frontierland, Adventureland, and Tomorrowland throughout the day.

For Quick-Service meals at Magic Kingdom Park, I recommend Casey's Corner, Columbia Harbour House, Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe, and Pinocchio Village Haus. I'm a mom of three, and I can tell you that all these dining locations offer kid-friendly options that will please any palate!

Plan to stay until park closing so you can catch a performance of Happily Ever After. This nighttime spectacular is not to be missed! It's truly the most magical way to end the day.

Before your arrival tomorrow, you'll need to purchase Theme Park Tickets and then make your Theme Park Reservations for Magic Kingdom Park. With your tickets and reservations secured, you'll be all set for your visit!

Be sure to download the My Disney Experience mobile app. It's magic at your fingertips! You can use the My Disney Experience mobile app to view current wait times for attractions, place mobile food and beverage orders, join mobile dine walk-up lists for select Table-Service restaurants, see your Disney PhotoPass photos, and more!

I hope this was helpful, Katie. I'm wishing you a day at Magic Kingdom Park that is practically perfect in every way!
