We will have only one day in Florida to visit a Disney park. I haven't been to any of them in several years and my Husband and 17 month old son have never been. Out of all the Disney parks, which one would you suggest for a special first time visit?

    Hi Kirstin,

For first time visitors and guests that haven't been to Walt Disney World in years, I would absolutely recommend spending your day at the Magic Kingdom. This is the iconic park of WDW!

The Magic Kingdom also features the most attractions that can be enjoyed by the young and young-at-heart. With a child under two, you'll find the most child-friendly activities at the Magic Kingdom. Our son's first visit was at the age of 2 and he loved the WDW railroad, Tomorrowland Speedway, meeting characters, Peter Pan's Flight, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, It's A Small World, Dumbo, the carrousel, Jungle Cruise, Tom Sawyer Island, and the Magic Carpets.

Add in the parades, shows, and night time fireworks and you'll have a full-day of magical fun!
