    We have one day during our stay with no park plans. Our goal was to try to use all the modes of transportation available to us for fun: the Skyliner, Monorail, some kind of boat, etc. Is there someplace I could go to help me make a route?

    Hi Christina! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with this great question!

    Oh boy! Your Walt Disney World vacation is just around the corner! I hope your family is excited about all the magical memories you are bound to make!

    Two things that I love to incorporate during my Walt Disney World trips are rest days outside of the parks and utilizing all of the Disney Transportation methods. If you want to plan a day traveling around, I have a few ideas that will work great! 

    1. If you're staying in a Disney Resorts hotel, take a Disney Bus to Disney's Hollywood Studios. From here, you can hop on the Disney Skyliner over to EPCOT. You can even make a stop along the way at Disney's Riviera Resort for a delicious lunch at Primo Piatto. When you arrive at the EPCOT stop, take the Friendship Boat back to Hollywood Studios. This route makes stops at a few deluxe Disney Resorts hotels along the way. Once you arrive back at Hollywood Studios, take a bus to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and take the monorail for a loop. Eventually, you can stop at the Magic Kingdom and hop on a bus back to your resort. Not only will you get to take various modes of transportation, but you'll also get to stop at many Disney Resorts hotels along the way.
    2. If you are staying offsite and are driving your own vehicle, you can park at Hollywood Studios and follow the same steps above. To get back to your car, simply take a bus from any of the monorail resorts back to Hollywood Studios. You can also change up the route if you want to start in a different area to accommodate your day better.
